The SQ-07MTHD supports photo and video recording directly onto a microSD card (up to 128GB). Users can easily configure motion detection for selected devices. Software-based motion detection is easy to configure, allowing customization of the recording source, mode (photo/video), and detection zone. Visual alerts can also be displayed on-screen when motion is identified.

User experience enhancements include configurable settings such as the "Do Not Disturb" mode, standby clock display, button illumination control, and sound management. Additionally, ringtone volume and duration can be personalized.
